Sometimes I do feel like I am at war. At war with myself . Writing can get pushed aside because truth be told there are other things I enjoy just as much or maybe even more than sitting down and typing. Such as playing with my grandson or hanging out with my kids, who are not kids really but more like adults, young adults and teenagers..I have five so I have a wide age range.
Does that sound sacrilegious? I know there are times that it might appear to family and friends that there is nothing in the world I love more than spending time reading and writing. But that just isn’t true for me.
This book was recommended to me and I am thankful to Karen Ball (Agent) for it. I love getting recommendations and then finding the book, movie, etc….was something I would have never thought of but I am so grateful that it was suggested to me!
The Art of War for Writers is one of those books that I will refer back to many, many times. There is just no way for me to remember all of the great advice after reading through it once. This book is up there with Stephen Kings, On Writing, of writing books that I would recommend to other writers or those who are interested in writing.
